NEW CONSTRUCTION - LEASE SPECIFICATION

1.1          Instructions to Designers
               This section is intended to give designers specific instructions as to how to structure the construction control system
               documents using the British Columbia Buildings Corporation standardized documents found in Section 1.0.

1.1.1       Technical Requirements

1.1.1.1    Table of Contents
               Prepare a Table of Contents following the headings below.

1.1.1.2    15910 Scope
               Prepare an overview and explanation of the CCS objectives as they relate to this project. Note any particular
               features or issues which may assist the controls contractor to understand the project better.

1.1.1.3    15915 CCS Conditions of Contract
               Attach this document unaltered.  Any revisions to this document for the particular project are to be noted in Section
               15920 by the Consultant as described below.

1.1.1.4    15920 Project Specific Alterations to BCBC - CCS Performance Specification
               This is where any deviations to the BCBC standard CCS Performance Specification, Section 15940, can be made,
               if necessary. This approach is used to assist the controls contractors in focusing on issues which may affect pricing of
               the project.

1.1.1.5    15925 Sequence of Operation
               This section is to be used to describe the sequences of operation for the items to be controlled.

1.1.1.6    15930 Systems Summary and Points Lists
               Summary Page - Prepare a summary of the points for each system using the Project Summary Sheet.
               System Points - Prepare a list of points for each system and list these on a second Project Summary Sheet.
               Alternatively, the designer may use the Graphic/Logic/Points List- One Page Format Sheets for the BCBC
               Pre-Approved System types.
               Non DDC Points - Prepare a list of these points using the Non DDC Points List form. These forms are located in
               Section 5.O of the manual and are also available in electronic format in Microsoft Excel Version 5.0 format.
               Graphics -Where graphics are to be provided, the contractor shall create the graphics in conformance with the
               BCBC Graphics Guideline Standard, see Section 7.0 in the manual. The BCBC Pre-Approved System type one
               page format sheets conform to the Graphics Guideline.

1.1.1.7    15940 BCBC - CCS Performance Specification - Section 1.3
               Attach this document unaltered. Any revisions to this document for the particular project are to be noted in Section
               15920 by the Consultant as described above.
